Commissions & Collaborations
Homeground Stonecrafted Ltd is the business arm of my stone carving practice — offering handmade taonga, vessels, and sculptural pieces crafted with care here in Northland, New Zealand.
I welcome all enquiries from galleries, retailers, designers, architects and curators interested in sharing work that supports sustainability, cultural reflection, and meaningful customer connection.
Whether through commissioned pieces, limited-edition collections, or wholesale partnerships, I seek to build relationships rooted in mutual respect and shared values. My work is created slowly, with intention — honouring the nature of each stone, and the story it may carry into someone’s life or space.
I’m happy to discuss exclusive offerings, bespoke designs, and collaborative projects that align with our shared kaupapa.
Let’s work together to bring handcrafted, enduring objects into the hands and homes of people who value authenticity, wairua, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of Aotearoa’s most celebrated venues, including:
Craggy Range Winery, Hawke’s Bay — providing custom stoneware that complements their vineyard and dining experience.
Mr Morris, led by acclaimed chef Mike Meredith, where handcrafted stone elements shaped part of their award-winning space.
My design collaborations extend beyond the kitchen too—I’ve worked with Lyzadie Design Studio to create exacting stone components for candelabra, bookends, and side tables.
Each commission has challenged my skills, expanded my horizons, and driven me to push creative boundaries. That’s exactly why I embrace them—they allow me to explore technique, story, and scale while bringing something entirely new into being.
“Each new project develops my craft, reshapes what’s possible, and deepens the relationship between stone, story and space.”
How it works
Let’s talk—share your ideas for scale, purpose, material, and story.
Next : I develop concept sketches, material options (stone types, finishes), and timelines.
Then : Once approved, I sculpt the piece using power tools, chisels, and traditional stone-carving methods.
Lastly: Delivery and installation (if needed), followed by ongoing documentation and care instructions.
Every piece is handcrafted in stone, reflecting natural forms—ocean tides, marine life, ancestral landscapes—and connection to whenua. I aim to build partnerships rooted in sustainability, cultural respect, and shared purpose.
